Effective date: 22 August 2026
This Policy describes how Our Power App LLC, Wyoming, United States, collects, uses, stores, and shares personal data of Our Power App users.
1. Data We Collect
We may process your name, email address, account data, interface and learning languages, English level, learning preferences, voice recordings, transcripts, answers, exercise results, activity history, device, operating-system and application data, IP address, push token, error and crash logs, analytics data, subscription information, and payment status.
2. Payments
Payment data is processed through Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. We do not receive or store your full payment-card number; card details are entered on Paddle's systems and never reach ours. We receive a transaction reference, the plan purchased and the billing country.
3. How We Use Data
We use data to operate accounts and learning features, process speech and text, provide transcription and feedback, personalize learning, provide support and service messages, manage subscriptions, maintain security, prevent abuse, diagnose errors, perform analytics, and improve the product.
4. Voice Recordings
Before the first use of a speech-based AI feature, the application displays a separate notice and requests explicit consent before requesting microphone permission. A recording is made and transmitted only after the server confirms consent. Recordings are used for speech recognition, analysis, and creation of requested personalized lessons. Consent can be withdrawn under Settings → Privacy; new audio operations are then blocked until consent is granted again.
5. Service Providers
We may use Amazon Web Services for infrastructure and data storage, OpenAI for speech recognition, artificial-intelligence features and text processing, ElevenLabs for voice synthesis and audio features, and Paddle.com for payments, subscriptions and tax. Only information necessary for the requested feature is shared. Data may be processed outside the user's country. Under the contractual terms we use, user materials must not be used by providers to train foundation models.
6. Legal Bases
Where required by law, processing may be based on performance of a contract, consent, legal obligations, and legitimate interests, including security, fraud prevention, support, and service improvement.
7. Sharing of Data
We do not sell users' personal data. Data may be shared with service providers, professional advisers, public authorities in response to a lawful request, and in connection with a corporate reorganization or similar transaction.
8. International Processing
Data may be processed in different countries, including the United States. Where required by law, appropriate contractual and organizational safeguards are used.
9. Retention
Source audio recordings are automatically deleted within 24 hours after successful lesson creation; recordings from failed processing are deleted after 7 days. Temporary files and intermediate transcripts are deleted within 24 hours after successful processing. A confirmed transcript and Typed Request text are retained while the related personalized lesson exists; if no lesson is created, they are retained for up to 7 days. Generation diagnostic metadata is retained for up to 12 months. These periods are server-configurable and may be shortened. Withdrawing audio consent deletes retained source recordings and temporary materials, but does not delete completed lessons or their related confirmed transcripts.
10. Account and Data Deletion
You can permanently delete your account without contacting support under Settings → Privacy → Delete account. Personalized lessons, recordings, transcripts, Typed AI Requests, temporary materials, generation metadata, and access data are deleted or irreversibly de-identified. Financial and consent audit records may be retained only where required by law, with direct identifiers removed where technically possible. Account deletion does not cancel an active subscription — cancel the subscription separately.
11. Your Rights
Depending on your country of residence, you may have rights to access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, withdrawal of consent, and submission of a complaint. To make a request, email ourpowerapp@gmail.com.
12. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. No method of storage or transmission over the Internet can provide absolute security.
13. Service Messages
We may send messages necessary to operate your account, including email verification, password recovery, subscription and security notices, and notices of material service changes.
14. Age
The application is intended for users aged 18 and older. The service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect children's data.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy. The current version is published on this page with a new effective date.
